Board nominations for the Gem City Market Board of Directors are now open!

When Gem City Market opened, our mission was clear: build a store by the people, for the people. We wanted to create a space that expands food access, strengthens food sovereignty, and puts people over profit by keeping ownership and decision-making in the hands of those it serves.

As a co-op, we’re owned by the many, not the few. There is no single person calling all the shots. We are led by the people we serve, guided by our neighbors, and built on the belief that those who invest in this store should have a voice in its future.

Now we’re looking for leaders who want to help guide what’s next. If you believe in this mission, consider running for the Board of Directors.
