Friendly reminder we are just a little over 1 week away from our annual Halloween party! We will judge the costume contest at 8:30pm. As always we will have a number of fun candy inspired keg treatments. Lastly, we need to have some fun since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year so we decided to whip up a slushie and a warm b**r. Stay tuned for more details this week!

You’ve all been crushing hoppy b**r so we’re throwing two more right back at you. Harvest Haze and In the Light are gone for another year but Increasing Frequency and Keep On Knocking are back!
Increasing Frequency is a bold 9% Double West Coast IPA with watermelon, strawberry, and apricot flavors, a warm maltiness, and a piney finish with some light candy sugar notes. It’s insanely drinkable for such a big b**r!
Keep On Knocking hits you with all the tropical flavors of the best hazy IPAs. Dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Citra Cryo, and Citra, you’ll find pineapple, ripe pear, mango, and a very mellow finish!
Unfortunately, our photographer, cellarman, and occasional bartender, Ben, is on a well-deserved vacation and told us we could take our own photo for Keep on Knocking. Please note Ben’s incredible lighting and composition for his shot of Increasing Frequency, then contrast those with the understated brilliance of a photo of Doug chugging a Keep On Knocking in the brewhouse. Say what you want, Doug enjoyed taking that picture more than Ben enjoyed painstakingly arranging those cans! That said, we’re looking forward to getting his talents back to Ohio in another week or so!

Dark b**r season!

Unmasked, our Robust Porter is on. Araneidae, our dark Munichw**e, is back on draft. And we released Dark Fortress, our coffee milk stout late last week.
Dark Fortress, like Dimmer, uses coffee from Woodburl roasters. Unlike the crisp, clean finish of Dimmer, Dark Fortress has a roasty, smooth and rounded finish. There’s a light sweetness from the base malt and from the lactose added during the boil. This is a dessert stout for grown-ups.
We’re also releasing a dark l***r and a fan-favorite stout in the next few weeks! If dark b**rs are your thing, this is definitely the time to stop in!
Dark Fortress and Unmasked are on draft and in 4-packs. Araneidae is draft only. We look forward to seeing you!

In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that delight our guests and meet all safety and food handling standards. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where every dish is crafted with care, precision, and creativity to match the b**r we serve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic food industry setting, contributing to the memorable experiences of our brewery customers.

It’s Friday! Taplist headed into the weekend.

Truly something for everyone with an eclectic mix of b**r, w**e, mead, and c***r. Grab an old favorite like Dimmer and Unmasked, or maybe try something new like DDH Cosmic Slop and Harvest Haze.

Had the opportunity through one of our hop partners indiehops to select our lots of Strata and Luminosa for the coming year.

Strata is one of our favorite hops here at the brewery and we’ve been contracting it for quite a while but haven’t selected individual lots before. All of them were very expressive but selecting lots gives you the opportunity to hone in on the characteristics you most want from each individual hop. The Strata we picked is loaded with melon and a backend of dankness.

Luminosa is a newer hop but one we’ve had in rotation a couple years now. Our pick was loaded with that peach/mango/lemonade we crave from this hop.

To taste our b**rs with Strata hops, stop by the brewery and try Cruise Your Illusion - Hazy IPA where Strata plays with some New Zealand hops or Yesterday’s Eyes - West Coast IPA where Strata co-stars with Citra.

Look out for b**rs in the coming months featuring Luminosa.

A few new and returning tappings this evening! Our Czech l***r, Tea for the Trillerman, is back on draft and drinking beautifully! This crusher is brewed with heritage Czech malt, Edelweiss, from Sugarcreek Malt Co. We also used Czech hops and double-stepped our mash when we brewed to ensure this b**r is as clean as possible!
Dimmer, our coffee golden ale with coffee from our absolute favorite roaster, Woodburl, from right here in Dayton, is back in cans and on draft as well! We used Woodburl’s “Abyssmal Flame” beans and think this might be one of the best tasting batches to date.
We also put Tiki Torch back on draft after a bit of a hiatus. Tiki Torch is a tropical dessert sour with Mango, Pineapple, Passionfruit, and toasted coconut!
Tea for the Trillerman and Dimmer are both available in 4-packs to go!

Well how were we supposed to know October 18th would be so busy?!? Enough folks have let us know that they’re busy for the chili cook off, and entrants were sparse enough for this date, that we’re going to postpone until November. We’ll update you soon with the new date! We apologize for the inconvenience, we just want a chili cook off to be flush with chili!

The food truck is up and running this evening and we have horror trivia at 7. The patio will be open for those who want a b**r and/or food but don’t want to play trivia. We have a few new b**rs coming up this week. More info on those tomorrow and Thursday!
