“My body’s ready for a break, but it’s been a good year,” said Eric Gedenk between sales at the Ploughshare Farm stand. The organic farm in Moiese is a regular vendor at the Polson Farmers Market, which wrapped up for the season last Friday morning.

Thanks to everyone who supported us this year at the Polson Farmers' Market and Lakeside Farmers Market--we really felt the love! With our spirits buoyed heading into the offseason, we're already thinking about how to have even more produce available next year. We look forward to another big leap forward in 2027--stay tuned for updates!

Now, to continue canning and fermenting up a storm!

The colors of fall don't just happen on trees. Come see us at Polson Farmers' Market (Friday 9-1) and the LAST Lakeside Farmers Market (Saturday 9-1)of the season. We'll have tons of sweet and spicy peppers, tomatoes, kale, chard, salad mix, winter squash, herbs, cucumbers, and zucchini. Savor the flavors of summer and fall at these last few markets of the season!

As our salanova lettuce heads start to slow down, we added in some of the young leaves from our winter greens that are just getting started--ample arugula and spinach in this week's salad mix!

Peppers, both sweet and spicy, are still going bonkers, as are tomatoes.

Ploughshare Farm is sending winter squash to Polson Farmers' Market (Fri 9-1) this week and we'll have our first few at Lakeside Farmers Market (Sat. 9-1), with a full complement of both our squash at both markets next week. Come see us at one of the last few markets and stock up for the off-season!

We are bringing the tomatoes to Lakeside Farmers Market and Dayton Daze tomorrow!

Additionally, we'll have a mix of sweet and spicy peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, celery, fresh herbs, salad mix and other greens from us.

We'll also have some of Ploughshare Farm's cabbages, onions, corn (last week!), carrots, and garlic, and Free Will Farm 's blueberries!

This could be one of the last pretty market Saturdays of the year, and a great time to support your local community at either/both events. We hope to see you!
