Summer time is the best time of year for most New Englanders. Cook-outs, picnics, lying by the pool, swimming in the ocean. Summer time for this farmer means look for shade for the cattle, refresh water troughs several times a day, worry about heat and humidity, check on calves throughout the day and sometimes push them out of the sun and into the shade and give them a fresh grazing area late in the afternoon so they can graze at night when it’s cooler. Thank you for supporting our farm store. When you buy our beef know that this farmer has done her best to provide for her cattle’s well being. Our freezers will be restocked June 17th . We have plenty of ground beef and pork and we’ll be open all day Saturday.

Rose, my Belted Galloway has been the most heat and cold tolerant of all our girls. She gets an A Plus for pastured beef mamma material.

Our beef will be restocked mid week. I thank everyone for their patience. We have plenty of pork, milk, yogurt, honey, maple syrup, soda, soaps and lotions. Stop and visit the “girls” and don’t forget cookies for Maggie😄
