Laurel Wood Farm Welcome to Laurel Wood Farm! We are a small hobby farm located in the Northeast corner of CT. Thanks for stopping by and checking us out!

We currently raise ADGA registered Lamancha goats and KHSI registered Katahdin sheep. We make goat milk soap and can be found at local events selling our soaps. we are a small hobby goat farm in Killingly, CT run by Marc & Rayann Glaude. We make hand made, all natural goat milk soaps made from our own goats milk. We take pride in the care of our animals and love to show everyone our journey through updates on our page!

On May 14th Nettle had a single buckling who is an exact replicable of his daddy Rye. So welcome to the farm little RJ aka Rye Junior. This guy has some amazing genetics behind him and I would LOVE to see him go to a new herd as a herdsire. We will see what the cards have in store for this little man down the road. He is getting his feet under him now jumping through the field and trying to keep up with mom.

It's unreal to think this little bottle fed buckling turned into this big hunk of a buck. This evening Rye passed away due to unknown causes. He was the first and only lamancha buck we have ever owned. We bottle fed him and raised him up here. We watched him father some beautiful babies. Lovingly called Elvis on occasion due to his unique hairstyle. Rye showed no signs of distress and had been acting normally. We will definitely be missing this big guy. Rest easy stinky man.

Ivy's Katahdin ram lamb is available for some ladies to woo. 😉 He was almost ten pounds at birth and we have lovingly referred to him as moose due to his large stature. Excellent genetics and confirmation to sire his own herd. Will be KHSI registered. Born 3/5 available middle to end of June once fully weaned. We are retaining his twin sister.
