Even though Farmers Markets are opening soon, our St Lawrence County growing season is just getting started. You can find a variety of spring crops as well as staples like eggs, locally raised meats, honey, and maple products along with baked goods at our spring markets. With warmer days ahead, more vegetables will be coming soon!

Our calving season had a tragic start with the loss of twin heifers. They were already gone when we got to the barn, so it's impossible to know exactly what happened, but likely a hard birth. The silver lining is we were able to collect and freeze the colostrum in case another calf needs it this season. Colostrum from the mother is best, but colostrum from the same herd is the next best thing! And we lucked out with this cow, she's gentle and calm, making her easy to milk, unlike most of the herd. We have many more calves to come, here's hoping the season improves from here! 🤞
