👉 It is a sweeter, more tender alternative to beef and can be used in supplement to any beef meal.
👉 It is highly concentrated in heme iron, providing benefits to those with anemia and other blood and iron deficiency conditions.
👉 Being one of the leanest red meats, it is low in fat and has the lowest cholesterol levels than other livestock.
👉 It is high in protein- providing essential amino acids, B-vitamins, and zinc.

WE ARE SO PUMPED!! One of the missions of our little store is to support local and tell the story of our food;
✔️Where it comes from
✔️How was it raised/made
✔️Is it Homegrown

Well this year we had the opportunity to bid at our local Brown County Fair Livestock and Dairy Auction for animals locally raised by youth exhibitors in our county. Every bid and sale goes to support our youth in their future endeavors with animals, education, and more!! We are so thankful to have been able to support Wyatt Laabs with the purchase of his Simmental Steer.

Wyatt is 13 years old and entering 8th grade this year. He has been active in the beef industry since he was 8 years old when he bought his 1st heifer. He shows at multiple jackpot shows in the spring and fall each year as well as the Brown County Fair. He is an active 4-H and FFA member and will be serving as the Denmark FFA Middle School President this school year. FFA has allowed him to participate in both dairy and livestock evaluation and placed 11th individually at the beef evaluation competition at World Beef Expo last year. Outside of showing cattle he loves to hunt and fish with his dad and brother. He also is an active band member through school and has learned to play 7 instruments.
His future plans are to increase his herd size and put away money for future education endeavors.

WE ARE SO PROUD TO SUPPORT WYATT IN HIS NEXT ENDEAVORS!! His beef will be in our store in a couple weeks. Come try it and help us continue supporting local and our youth for tomorrow!! 🤎 377 Main Ave. De Pere (around back)
