Why not pick one of the hottest days to work on your electric fence.. 🥵☀️🐝? Joe had a suspicion it wasn’t working correctly and he was right! Upgraded our wire and re-strung the whole yard today. We went with 14ga steel and using our red sizzle charger, we are now getting a 6,000 volt output reading, previously only 2,000 if we were lucky. Bears have been in the area. Here’s some photos of us working from our trail cam we have by the yard, and a few of the bears! Praying this works! ⚡️🐻

Not what I was expecting Friday, happened to be checking on the bees and a swarm came piling out of hive #2. So I started banging my hive tools to get them to land. Well they did but not in the most ideal spot. I think I eventually got them all moved into a new hive. Welcome hive #14. Here’s some videos of where they landed and a swarm trap I used to entice them inside.
