We take the summer off mostly from social (an excuse for it being entirely too busy) which is why it’s taken me 3 weeks to post this 🙈 so my response will be delayed but promise to read in order - plus I’m in 🇮🇸 this week 😍

These two lookers are looking to stay in my pocket and join the heifer herd as their mama that purchased them needed to wait for fall babies due to life changes but thought I’d just put them out there for consideration as our fall contracts aren’t ready with barns and fencing (or at least so I can tell my husband I advertised them 🤫 before they make their way to join the up and comers without him noticing).

20 and 22 inches at birth, A2/A2. Full sisters ❤️ Halter trained and well socialized since birth.

I have so many posts in my head I want to share - some medical experiences on our farm - everyone lived thank goodness (hypocalcemia and almost monensin toxicity in our pony), some cute pictures and some heartwarming forever framed photographs of so many new families welcoming their winter and spring babies home - but it was an intense few months of calving, training babies, ensuring they are placed in the best hands and tons of paperwork with a few trips away, that I’m spending time with my kids and soaking up some start of summer moments. I’ll get back to sharing more but don’t want this one to slip by. If you haven’t heard of Cowgirl Confident- you should definitely check it out. I was so honored to speak on our almost decade of embryo transfer work and immunology in several breakout sessions. It’s a community of other likeminded women with similar passions, truly an experience, and I’d recommend it to everyone! I enjoyed so much meeting so many experienced and newbie families and women and hope they took an ounce of knowledge with them from my presentations. I’ll be there again in November and would love to see the mini Jersey cohort grow further all while learning many hands on skills, deep knowledge and growing the community.
