In his first kid crop this year, so far his daughters have won ๐Ÿ†2 x GCH and 2 x RCH, ๐Ÿ† including one daughter who won GCH at just 8 weeks old out of 58 junior does! We are seeing correct feet and legs, general appearance, and WIDTH!

I shaved two goats for nationals and then I got distracted shaving one for a show tomorrow. And yes, she's a fat yearling, but she's my fat yearling. She will milk it off next year!

Agape's Prize Aint' That Lovin x Sweeter Than Honey Daffodil 1*M VEVV 89

I knew I wanted a Butters X Daffodil doeling because I'm hopeful he will improve some udder things with her, while keeping her dairyness, length of body, and femininity. Unfortunately during breeding season last fall, he was having fertility problems due to a difficult battle with barberpole, so Daffodil was covered by multiple bucks to be sure she took. Lucky for me, one of Butters' swimmers made it!

I knew as soon as this girl popped out that she was a Butters baby, but of course we had to wait for DNA to make it official. This also marks our first split litter, because her two sisters were both sired by Atwood Acres DM Watership Down.

Bluebell is so naturally pretty that taking pictures of her was easy. She is elegant, long, and correct. Can't wait to get this pretty girl in the ring now that she is registered.

I was told by all three judges that I need to wean my intermediate kids, and that milk goiters are distracting ๐Ÿ˜… but according to Google they're a sign of a healthy, thriving baby and I prefer that outlook. ๐Ÿ˜‚
