I won't be at market this next week, so I thought before I travel across the country I would share a video of my favorite chocolate merengue cake. I made it on repeat this past spring because it was so good. It has a rich chocolate cake topped with a sweet and crunchy top. It is flourless and can be made gluten-free if you choose. We had a great market today! Thank you everyone who ventured out to see us. I do have a few sourdough boules left if anyone wants to porch pickup. Look at my market finds for this week. I got the most beautiful journal from Paper Cuts & Stitches LLC , some tomatoes from Breathe Easy Farm , pickled okra from the amazing , some lotion and some natural bug repellent from Relax Jack , a few gluten free treats from , and a therapy pillow that can be heated or cooled. So many fun finds today. Don't forget I won't be at the next market this month, but will be back in September.

Oven is off and everything is ready for tomorrow's market The Fair Market . We will be set up tomorrow August 15th from 9am to 2. New to the menu are these amazing twice baked croissants. There are two options almond or chocolate almond. And yes this was my treat today! I also wanted to share a little item I got from another vendor. I had someone ask me about making those viral fruit mousse desserts recently. They are beautiful, but for my set up at market it just isn't practical. They are delicate and need to stay either frozen or refrigerated, which takes up a lot of space in protective boxes. So I decided to go with an alternative that is similar but more manageable. So, for this week's special pastry item we have an Orange Almond Mousse cake. This gluten free dessert has an orange infused almond cake with a whipped ricotta mousse and fresh marmalade center. I have plans on making some other flavor options in these cute little containers, but this is the first one the list. Come see us this Saturday The Fair Market from 9am to 2pm.

These kabobs became a repeat item on our dinner menu. The sauce also made enough to use on some thighs in the airfryer. No that's not the name brand parmesan. We get a high quality one in bulk and reused an old container or grate our own freshly. Yes Jim grilled this one, but you could just pop them in the airfryer as well. Need a dinner idea using some of the ciabatta bread you got from me at market? This was a delicious dinner! Just toast with a little olive oil, brush with roasted garlic, layer some grilled bottom sirloin flap steak(also known as steak for Churrassco), add onions and mushrooms, top with munster, broil and enjoy! I added a little Chula and had some tomatoes Jim picked up from Breathe Easy Farm and sprinkled some of my basil finishing salt on top. See y'all at the next market.
