This is not a post I was going to make, but almost a dozen people have reached out asking about the newspaper article.

I did see what Daily Chronicle - Shaw Local wrote, and as a small business owner, I’m not going to lie I was saddened and disappointed. This is something I have wanted to do for years. Bringing this to life meant a lot to me!! The Daily Chronicle chose to not give us recognition even though all the signs say Lalo’s Q Fall Food Truck Fest Hosted by Barb City Manor!

I’m grateful I had the opportunity to raise money for Barb City Manor and support the wonderful work they do. They were gracious hosts, and we’re excited to work with them again.

I’ll share more about the event in a separate post. For now, I’m incredibly proud that I brought DeKalb’s FIRST fall food truck fest to life. Seeing our community come together made all the hard work worth it!
