Chubby Chipmunk is growing and we need more space. As much as we have loved being inside the Hotel Alex Johnson, it is time for us to open our own store front in Rapid City. Today our AMAZING crew and a few extra awesome helpers, worked together to move us 3 doors down. We need one more day to get everything ready and will be excited to welcome everyone in beginning Tuesday at 507 6th Street in Rapid City. Please bare with us as we settle in to our new location AND be on the lookout for an update when we are ready to share our new creations... caramel apples and more! Our Deadwood location remains open and will also feature some new goodies soon.

Our Chipmunk family is mourning the loss of a very dear coworker and friend. You may not have seen Sam when you came into the store (as she was usually in the back, making chocolates, washing dishes and keeping all the chipmunks in line) but her presence was always felt throughout the shop. Sam was an amazing baker as well as a sweet friend. She kept us on our toes with her spunky humor and we knew we could count on her for a pep talk (Sam style) on those crazy busy days.

We will be closing early on Wednesday so our Chipmunk family can celebrate the life of our dear friend. Friends and former coworkers who would like to attend please see the attached photo with all the details. We miss you Sam!
