Captain Billy's Pie Company We’re passionate about crafting delicious, handcrafted pies that capture the essence of home and comfort. Join us to taste the tradition in every bite.

From flaky crusts to mouthwatering fillings, our pies are made with love and the finest ingredients. I started making pies in 1968 after my beloved Aunt showed me her secret recipe on how to make the perfect pie. Ever since then, Billy's Pies have become a fall staple around the area, especially with family and friends. It wouldn't be a family event unless a pie made it. Every year we wait for harvest and buy the freshest apples from the local farmers to produce a great tasting quality product.

The Tralee is getting closer to being ready for launch!

Welding is almost complete, and we’re one step closer to getting her back where she belongs on the water. There’s still work to be done, but progress is happening one step at a time!

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us in Tecumseh this weekend. Selling out both Saturday AND Sunday is something that has never happened before, and honestly, I’m still taking it all in. We are beyond grateful for every single person who stopped by, supported our little business, and took home a pie (or two!).

A huge thank-you to Mary Lou and Marsha for holding down the fort at the Tecumseh show while I was out on the Detroit River for the last charter of the season. I couldn’t have done it without you ladies!

From the river to the pie table, it was one heck of a weekend. Thank you for making it one to remember. We don’t take your support for granted, and we appreciate you more than you know.

WOW, Tecumseh! What an incredible first day at the Tecumseh's Appleumpkin Festival!

We can't thank everyone enough who stopped by, said hello, and took home a pie, cake, or slice today. Your support means so much to our little pie company!

From tugboats to baking… just another day around here!

One minute it’s life on the water, the next it’s flour on the counter and apple pies in the oven. Never a dull moment!
