Bobbie Lane's BBQ Catering and Food Truck

09/23/2026

Hello-

Along with the Burrito Truck, The Gyro Truck and several others along Pershing. Our truck was also broken in to.

This happened to all of us on two separate occasions.

We will be tightening things up and placing more cameras, as it must be the same crew.

If anyone has information, please contact the Decatur Police Department.

Thank you!

THIS IS NOT me placing blame. It's stating the facts of why we couldn't proceed. And those that say it was a money grab, we didn't touch a penny, everyone was to pay the charity directly.

Obviously, we didn't want to cancel the BBQ Brawl this weekend, but Susan from the Macon County Health Department called us yesterday to let us know that not one single competetor got their permit, that deadline was last week and was communicated to everyone. In transparency, I have shared the email with you all here, that went out to everyone yesterday explaining the cancelation.
