Today in the kitchen: seed saving and vinegar making.

This year, our 3rd Summer and Fall in this new life, it feels like rhythms of the seasons are finally settling in. We are back to bread making, candle light, preserving apples, baking, building and repairing animal structures, and already planning for next garden season. Coming up: planting garlic and collecting fallen leaves for garden mulch.🍁🍁

Enjoying my favorite brunch meal of late after a busy morning of kids, cows and garden! All farm produced. 🙌🏻♥️

Try it: Eggs however you like them with any fresh cheese smothered and warmed on top, piled on fresh tomatoes, sprinkled with salt and pepper. Basil would put it over the top but I couldn’t wait.

We have a bunch of babies right now and I’m not mad about it. It’s a sweet time.

Ready for pickup for a sweet friend. I love when I get to send these beauties out into the world. I love it even more when my egg customers tell me they are getting their own chickens! It’s so doable in a suburban setting and I can’t wait to live in a world where it’s the norm and not the oddity for people to have backyard chickens!

If you are local we always have fresh eggs and even fresh chickens if you are ready to take the leap!
