Here is why I’ve been MIA!!! 4 new breeding pens built, and expanded the silkie pens. Had to get all these chick/ens out of my building! Then I spent the rest of the week cleaning the CRAP out of the building! LITERALLY! 🤢. It finally smells normal in there again. I still have to clean the front room, but everything else is lookin and smellin NIiiCCEEE! I hope you all are proud of me for finally getting off my ass and doing something with my chickens instead of just collections them like Pokemon cards… 😂

Rose Blooms and more dozen! What you see is what you get. Auction will end at 8pm central time tonight and they will go to the top bidder. Funds will go towards feeding these freeloaders for the past couple months while they decided to go on vacation, forcing me to support my addiction on my own. The audacity I know! I wish I was kidding too. Why they gotta eat so much?!

Starting bid is 150 beans, minimum increase of 5 beans. Comment with your bid. Keep it in the comment section for it to count. I won’t accept DM bids. Auction will end tonight at 9PM central time. These will be shipped out tomorrow to the highest bidder.

I will be doing a drawing afterwards, for anyone who bids on these. Within reason ok? Anyone who throws out a bid lower than the highest bid will not count unless it was commented around the same time the next highest bid was commented. This will be for a rainbow dozen that includes a couple rose blooms. These will also ship out tomorrow.

I have an announcement! If the girls have another week like this week, we could be on track to start up egg drops again! I finally got my 4 new coops set up, and chickens moved in! Once I know my roosters are doing their jobs, I will be adding those layers to the bunch too. But if all goes well, I could be starting back up on egg drops as soon as this weekend! Get those incubators out again! Pink eggs are about to make their return!

I haven’t forgotten about y’all I promise. These past few weeks have been consuming all my free time. When I say free time, I mean my in between doing what I do to occupy my time.

My teenager decided he didn’t like my rules and thought he would take it upon himself to remove himself from my care and shack up in a cow field. Turns out sleeping under a tree while it’s raining isn’t so comfortable, being able to have an outlet to charge your phone doesn’t magically appear out of the ground, and those cows don’t just butcher themselves to end up on a dinner tree bark? Because he didn’t have a plate! 😂 We have been navigating that. Then my grow out pen got hit hard with fowl pox, wet and dry! Dry pox’s just makes them ugly, and sometimes you have to help them find food. But for the most part it’s pretty simple to handle. But these wet pox! Good lord! I’m struggling! They are already trying to fight that off and then because their immune systems are stressed they decide they want to also take on upper respiratory issues. Which if you have dealt with wet pox isn’t exactly what you want when they are already having issues eating and breathing. I’ve lost more birds than I’d honestly like to admit. I am now reconsidering my decision not to vaccinate chicks. Because although dry pox is not to bad, these wet pox is no joke! I don’t want to deal with all this again! Then to top off all of these, I’ve got a building full of chickens. The building smells terrible! So I’ve been building another 4 coops. I’ve spent every waking moment I have right now on these three things. Oh! And did I mention I got contacted by an attorney for the personal situation I had happen last month? Because you know I don’t have enough crap going on right now. But I will get through it all! And before you know it, I’ll be back with my terrible jokes and egg pictures! So enjoy your little break from me because it’s all going to start again soon! 😂
