With a saddened heart we are sharing the passing of Doc, finding words to truly express what Doc means to our family should come easily; however I am at a loss of words we are heartbroken. Doc was a great cattleman, a mentor, a father figure, a best friend, a grandfather to us, he was our biggest cheerleader and not afraid to chew our ass when needed, we will miss him daily. Thank you Doc for believing in us all those years ago when we came to you asking to buy Amanda a prospect steer for fair. Without your advice and encouragement we wouldn’t still be raising cattle 17 years later.
Rest easy Doc and know we’ve got your herd from here and will continue your Blue Water Angus Farm heritage of raising great Angus cattle, with adding your remaining herd to our 4K herd and beginning the 4K Show Cattle BWAF legacy herd we hope to be as respected as you are in the cattle industry some day.
