A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Mt. Vernon Youth for spending their time and energy serving at DeLaCruz Farms! 💚 Because of your hard work, our playground now has a beautiful new mulched area that will help keep it safe and welcoming for all who visit.
And they’re not done yet! 🎉 The MVBP Youth Missions Group is already hard at work on their second project—building a custom storage box for our Solo Stove, firewood, and outdoor implements, while also staining additional structures around the farm to help preserve them for years to come.
We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Greens Construction for generously donating the building materials that made this project possible. Your investment in our farm and our community means more than words can express.
Projects like these remind us what can happen when businesses, churches, and young people come together to serve others. We are incredibly grateful for each and every person who has played a part in making DeLaCruz Farms a place where our community can gather, learn, and grow.

Something special is taking shape at De La Cruz Farms! 🌟
A huge THANK YOU to Arete and their incredible team of engineers for building our brand-new playground. We are so grateful for the hard work, generosity, and servant hearts of Joe, Azur, Holden, Parker, Caleb, and Martin, who dedicated their time and talents to create a place where children can play, grow, and make memories.
What made this project even more meaningful was watching the team gather together and pray over the playground before it welcomes the children and families we serve. ❤️
Thank you, Arete, for investing in our mission and helping create a space filled with joy, hope, and endless possibilities. We can’t wait to see the smiles this playground will bring!
