Steven Humphrey has volunteered to conduct a thorough inspection of the fan's airflow while the rabbits oversee quality control from the shade.

If you wander into the petting zoo and accidentally take a nap, we won't judge.

You will find us at the NC 4th of July Festival Kid Zone today. With the heat advisory please remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks from the heat.

As always, our animals come first, and we'll have the fans running, fresh water available, and plenty of shade to help keep everyone comfortable.

If you find yourself needing a break from the sun, you're welcome to step inside the petting zoo, grab a seat on a hay bale, enjoy the breeze, and listen to the animals share tales of their latest adventures.

The Rabbits of the realm Moon Brewed Mischief: Amethyst, Sage, and Binx, have been hard at work preparing for their favorite event of the week 🌻.

They've fluffed their ears, practiced their cutest poses, and are ready to be admired.

If you ask Binx how Angel the Invisible Chicken became invisible, he'll probably tell you he had absolutely nothing to do with it. Which, honestly, sounds a little suspicious.

Sunday's adventure takes us to our favorite farm, Trask Family Farms , so come find us June 7th 🌻!

Bunz the World Hopper 🐰 has heard the whispers in the air that there is a sea of sunflowers and insists he once crossed Trask Family Farms' spectacular maze of sunflowers while traveling in a hot air balloon. Ember the Living Flame, a pig 🐷 with absolutely no interest in flames and every interest in naps, plans to spend most of the day proving that sunshine is best enjoyed while sleeping. Meanwhile, Angel the Invisible Chicken has already managed to lose a feather somewhere among the blooms.

Whether Bunz actually crossed the sunflower maze in a hot air balloon remains unconfirmed, but the sunflower maze, the blooms, and the adventures waiting at Trask Family Farms are very much real. The rest of the story is yours to write.

What they don't always see are the countless hours Steven Humphrey spends caring for them and making sure they have the best life possible.

The feed buckets. The vet visits. The long days. The hard days.

Then there are moments like this, when all the hard work fades away and only the trust remains.

Something magical is happening in Wilmington this Saturday!

From 1–5 PM, we will be bringing a little Humphrey Honey Bunny Farm magic to Customer Appreciation Day at Kilwins Wilmington

Come love on the animals, enjoy all the sweet treats Kilwins has to offer, and try very hard not to let Bunz the rabbit convince you that every ice cream cone should come with a cobblestone path and tiny moat.

Rumor has it Ember the piglet is already searching for fudge samples, Binx the rabbit will be eyeballing everyone’s topping choices, and Luna Pearl the goat may or may not attempt to trade emotional support for ice cream.

We cannot wait to see everyone for a day full of animals and a little magical chaos!

It was such an honor to bring the animals to the students at Duke University.

There is something so special about watching students slow down for a little while, sit in the hay, love on animals, laugh with friends, and forget about stress for a moment.

We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by to spend time with the animals, and so thankful to Duke University for having us.

No matter how big the event gets, our favorite part will always be seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and watching someone find a little peace in the middle of a busy day.

Thank you for letting us bring a little magic.

The magic does not stop there!

We will be bringing the magic of the petting zoo to the Festival of Legends April 25th and 26th.

Dumbledore is already insisting he needs his key polished before the journey, Angel the Invisible Chicken has gone missing again, and Oddity is gathering Curiosities like she is preparing for some sort of woodland council meeting.

We had an amazing time at the ENC Ren Faire!

So many magical souls stopped by to meet the animals, search for Angel the Invisible Chicken’s missing feathers, locate Dumbledore’s vanishing key, and discover what Oddity had tucked away in Oddity’s Curiosities.

There were stories shared, laughter, magical chaos, and so many kind people who took the time to stop and enjoy the little world we bring with us.

Thank you to everyone who visited us, loved on the animals, spun the Whimsey Wheel, searched for treasures in the petting zoo, and made this weekend so spectacular.

You all are truly the magic that keeps us going.
