🖤 Meet Storm’s Nott Raven 🖤

Sometimes the sweetest stories begin with a quiet little nose.

I’d like to officially introduce the newest member of Rocking H Ranch… Storm’s Nott Raven, or simply Raven.

She made her grand entrance as an all-black little filly and has already completely stolen my heart. She’s still a little shy and unsure of this big world, but every day she gets a little braver. Last night, while I was FaceTiming my Momma, this curious little girl walked right up to me just to sniff my phone and see what all the fuss was about. It felt like she wanted to be part of the conversation.

Those tiny moments are my favorite.

I was the very first person to put my hands on Storm when she was born, and years later I was blessed to be the first person to hold Raven too. That feels incredibly special to me, and it’s something I’ll always treasure.

My hope isn’t just that Raven grows into a beautiful horse. I hope she grows into a horse that trusts people, enjoys being loved, and knows that hands can bring comfort, scratches, and kindness.

Welcome to the world, little Raven.

Today felt like the beginning of something really special 🤎🐝

Zane has been working on getting our bee area set up, and I finally went down to see it… and y’all, it just felt right.

We’re calling it Grannie Mae’s Bee Garden 🌿🐝

This little space will one day be home to the bees that help create Grannie Mae’s Rocking H Honey — slow, sweet, and straight from the land we love so much.

There’s something about standing out there, knowing this is just the start… it made my heart feel full.

A little patience, a little sunshine, and a whole lot of care — that’s how the good things grow around here.

I spent some quiet time with Sky and her little one this evening, and I was able to get these photos.

He’s still a bit timid, but curiosity is already starting to shine through. He’ll step forward, then pause, then come just a little closer, and investigate me sitting there.

His name Shadow fits him just right.

There’s a calm strength about him already… like he’s taking his time figuring out the world before he fully steps into it.

Sky is doing amazing, staying close and steady like she always does.

We’re feeling really grateful for moments like this out here on the ranch 🖤

✨ Welcome to the Rocking H Ranch, Gunn’s Sky Shadow ✨

Last night, I sat quietly with Sky while she ate, just taking it all in… and I finally got a few sweet moments with her beautiful c**t.

He’s already showing us who he is—
a little timid, a little curious… but steady in a way that makes you stop and feel it.

Strong, but thoughtful.
Watchful, but brave enough to step forward.

So it only felt right that his name found its way to us:

Gunn’s Sky Shadow

Born from Big Sky Sun Cora and My Gunns Bigger, and already carrying both of them in his spirit.

There’s something special about this one… you can see it in his eyes.

We’re so excited to watch him grow here on the Rocking H Ranch 💜🖤

Spring is here! Which means babies 🥰😍 Maggie Mae also got a little tractor time with Grannie Mae while she cut the pasture.

Perfect weather calls for spending some time in the saddle. We were also started working on Miss Honey and being comfortable with a saddle on her, and she did amazing!!! Putting in the work with her is really paying off 🥰

Please help us welcome TWO NEW LADIES to the ranch!!! Meet Ms. Blue Belle and Ms. Sky. We are also excited to announce that Ms. Sky is pregnant and should be foaling in early spring 😍🥰 We are so excited to welcome these gals and the little one to our family!
