We are OPEN! Come get your final fresh flowers of the season!

The flowers are looking beautiful for our final fresh Bouquet farm stand Friday! I did come across a fun fact about dahlias! Did you know to date, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has given 141 dahlias an Award of Garden Merit, noting them as particularly garden worthy.

If you have looked at the weather for northern Indiana you will know that a frost is expected for this weekend. This will end our dahlia season however we thought we would share a picture of each of the kinds and colors that we grew this year.

1. Polka; lovely color for fall
2. Cafe au rose or au royal; they both look very similar so we can't tell anymore!

3. Little scotty; Doesn't give a lot of blooms but cute in small bouquets.

4. Ivanetti; lovely color great for fall.

5. Cafe au lait; we love the entire au lait series.

6. Catlin's joy; bright pink and orange color.

7. Cornell; Favorite dahlia over all!

8. Dancing queen; only the second year on this variety however nice colors.

9. Pink pearl; If I am being honest this dahlia is annoyingly prolific đŸ˜‚ goes great with everything.

10. Salish twilight girl; Also, a favorite!

11. Cornell bronze; love the fall combo with Cornell pearl and bronze. Also, very prolific.

12. Frost nip; Blooms the size of a dinner plate.

13. Rebecca lynn; Small and dainty nice for large arrangements.

We also grew Golden scepter and Creme de Cognac.
