We’ve got a heck of a deal for you this weekend! Come out any day this last week of October (or until we are sold out) and fill up one of our special “pumpkin-barrows” for a flat rate of only $30! That’s as many pumpkins, gourds, and even mums that you can fit in a wagon for one price (farm fresh eggs and handmade bracelets excluded). The only “rules” are that the items have to stay in the wagon without help from anyone or anything while you’re moving them AND the big one, no overloading to the point that pumpkins are falling out and getting broken. No one wants pumpkins that have been cut open or ones with broken stems, and our goal is to have as many people as possible get all the pumpkins they can handle for an extremely reasonable price. Second “rule” which is actually just a request, LIKE OUR PAGE and share it with all your friends so they can get a great deal too! Then get over here and get all the decor you can load up! There’s no limit on how many pumpkin-barrow loads you can buy for $30 each. We are self serve, open everyday from sunrise to sunset. Conveniently located just off I74 at the Goodfield exit. Head north towards Eureka and follow our large orange signs all the way to pumpkin town! Cash, check, or Venmo accepted.
On a more personal note, if you cannot make it to our place in time to fill up because we’ve sold out, or if you just want to support a really nice family one last time with maybe a trip through the corn maze, please consider visiting Ackerman Family Farms, this week. After 26 years of selling pumpkins to the area and graciously welcoming families onto their farm, they are hanging up the retail pumpkin business and hopefully taking some time to focus on themselves going forward. I’m sure we all appreciate everything they’ve done for the farming community over the years and they will certainly be missed.
