Lazy Crane Farm Small sustainable family farm in Hahnaman, IL. This is Lazy Crane Farm! You will be able to watch us develop our farm from the beginning. Join us on our journey!

Using regenerative farming practices, we grow fruits and vegetables to provide local fresh produce to the Northern Illinois community. This channel is about us, Grant and Erica, leaving our teaching jobs in Florida in order to move back with family to rural Illinois and start our own farm. Lazy Crane Farm is starting out on family land, which will be converted to grow fruits and vegetables. There will be ups and downs and a lot of fun while we learn and navigate this new terrain and career.

We are sadden that we will not be at the final market in Dixon tomorrow due to the heavy frost and damaging storms over the last week. We want to thank all of you, who have come to our table each and every week, we have the best customers! We are also grateful to have met such wonderful market sellers. It made this experience perfect! We can't wait to start growing for next year, so we can expand our selection of quality local fresh produce!
