As many of you know, our main focus at Gorse Farm is supplying our local supermarkets and restaurants with our year-round organic salad.
During the growing season, we also grow enough for a very limited number of veg boxes — a small chance to get a box of fresh, organic, locally grown vegetables straight from the farm.
At a time when Ireland relies heavily on imported vegetables, choosing to support your local grower is a simple but powerful way to strengthen our food system. Every box helps keep small farms like ours growing, and helps show that there is a demand for locally produced food in our communities.
Our boxes are €20–€30, packed with seasonal organic produce, and grown just outside Bunclody in the sunny southeast.
