And that's a wrap on the 2023 Polk County Fair!🎡

The best time of year with the best group of kids!
This was the girls first year showing beef and they did amazing! All the kids made auction, a BIG thank you to their buyers:
Cain's Processing (Kallie & Chase)
Four Hands Holsteins (Suki)
Cardinal Glass (Darby)
Amery Chevrolet (Brady)

*Chase's steer won his class and got Reserve ADG!

*Suki's steer got 2nd in his class and was the ADG Champion!

*Brady is a our graduating senior, we'll sure miss him next year! He was 2nd in his showmanship class, and received 2nd with his steer!

*Darby's steer got 3rd in his class and she was 2nd in showmanship!

*Kallie's steer got 3rd in his class and she won her showmanship class!

Kim and Chase showed their Boer goats too🐐
For the open and 4-H show, they both won Overall Breeding Stock Champions with their doelings, and Chase received two blue ribbons with his wether's!

We're all looking forward to next year already!😁

Welcome to Borderline Livestock👋

A little about us!
Colin has a herd of beef cattle, and for the past two weeks they were at a pasture about a mile away. Early this morning, we got them moved back home before the rain! Colin's parents, Kim and Craig, also have a herd of registered Boer goats!

This year, we have 5 awesome kids showing our goats and cattle at the Polk County Fair at the end of July! We'll be busy practicing and getting ready in the next couple weeks, but also are getting pretty excited!😁
