Yikes. Get yours now! We have 2 Belted Galloway halves available if anyone is looking for grass fed, naturally grown beef! Harvesting next week. Message us for more info!

Grocery prices have already been tough, and it looks like beef might get even more expensive in the next couple of years. A top beef company CEO says ground beef could hit ten dollars a pound by late 2026.

Why? The U.S. cattle herd is the smallest it has been in 70 years, but demand for beef is higher than ever. Ranchers are holding back young cows to rebuild herds, which means less beef on the market right now. Add in drought, high feed prices, and interest rates and it all pushes prices up even more.

Even with changes to tariffs, experts say most of the price problem is coming from supply issues here at home. Some companies say they will try not to raise prices, but grocery store beef could still get pricey.

Bottom line for families: We may need to stretch meals a little more or watch for sales because beef could get a lot more expensive before it gets better.

If I see more helpful tips or ideas to save at the store, I’ll share them. Stay tuned, y’all.
