We’re all about working with great people here and today we were lucky that not only did Grosskreutz Crop Insurance bring us in Jake’s words, “the best field meal ever” to the harvest crew BUT then Jefo brought the barn crew Chinese!

Thankful for these great businesses but more importantly people we work with!

So thank you to the Grosskreutz family and to Kris Malinov for feeding the WHOLE crew today ❤️

If you haven’t heard, we’ve been a little busy hosting events the last week!

We hosted Arik and Frankie’s wedding on Saturday-it was a beautiful celebration that I don’t even have any pictures to share! Arik is Jake’s best friend from childhood and we were honored to throw their wedding here!

Today, we hosted the Clear Lake FFA’s Food for America Program at the farm! What a beautiful fall day for all the 4K-2nd graders to come out to the farm!

As I watched this gorgeous sunset last night, it gave me all the feels that everything we’ve been working so hard for the last few years is finally coming to fruition!

I’m not going to say the last few years have been easy, it’s been far from it. But to see the results we saw yesterday, has me excited for the future and where our farm, herd and most importantly, employees and vendors can take us.

To see conception rates we have NEVER seen on this farm, followed by pregnancy rates we have NEVER seen has us excited for what’s ahead.

Can’t begin to say enough thanks to our employees for getting these girls off to the races, but to our team at Genex, ST Genetics, Anderson Vet, Cargill, and now transitioning to GPS for helping us get there!

Good things to come!!

Welcome to the show, 2026 edition! 🌽

Please be mindful of trucks hauling south of Deer Park from 215th Ave, north to 3rd Avenue (across the county line) on Highway 46 starting tomorrow, September 9th through sometime Friday September 11th.

We know people like to watch the cool process, however keeping everyone safe is our top priority. If you want to stop to watch from the road, please pull over where you are not going to be a hazard.

We’ve been blessed with good crops this summer, unlike most in our area. We caught a lot of rain many did not catch especially in July.

We finished up our 4th Crop last night and now we wait for corn silage. And hope for some rain to finish out the crop!

With heavy hearts, our farm family is grieving with one of our own in an unexpected, sudden loss.

Please keep Brayden and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the loss of Kenna. ❤️

Celebrate the life of McKenna Christensen and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.
