And here we go with round 2 of babies! Our second gilt now sow has had a successful first litter. She only had 4 but we are very grateful with how healthy and active they came out. Momma has amazing maternal instincts and we are extremely pleased with how much she is letting us handle her and the piglets at only 3 days old!

PIG RAFFLE TICKETS AVAILABLE!!
Enter to win a 80-100 pound roasting pig! This pig can be roasted whole or broken down into BBQ and will feed 100-120 people. Raffle will end when all 150 tickets are sold. The pig itself will be ready around November 1st and can be made into BBQ by Hazy Brook Farm for an additional small fee.

We tried our hand at incubating for the first time this past month. Needless to say it was stressful keeping up with it and not knowing which eggs were fertile at the beginning but these little guys here have made it very rewarding!! 🐣
