We are offering 5 of our Silver Appleyard ducks to a new home.
- 4 of them hatched this spring. No guarantees but we believe all are males. They are the age we would process them for meat.
- 1 male is a year old.
All 5 must go together $150. Pick up at our farm in Deerfield, MA.

We talk a lot about our heritage breed silver appleyard ducks, so we wanted to share a little bit of the breeds history! They were developed in England during the 1940s by Reginald Appleyard with a goal to a beautiful duck that had strong meat and laying characteristics. The breed came to the US during the 1960s and about 60 years later we are raising them on our farm, working to preserve this heritage breed!

You can also find our classic favorites such as apple pie (made with Clarkdale Fruit Farms cider) and latte lather (made with Indigo Coffee coffee). Plus everyone is loving the new oatmeal honey soap, so it has been added to our year round offerings!

Our birds love eating watermelon! This watermelon, and other fruits/vegetables they get comes from local farm stores, as a way to reduce food waste! They will often get cracked watermelon, soft tomatoes, bruised apples and other seasonal produce that can’t be sold, but is still good for them to eat. The birds love it and it prevents that food from going to waste!

These birds are old enough to be outside, eating ticks and helping guard your property. They are great birds to have around!

We are asking $200 for all 8 birds - we have raised them since they were little, cared for and fed them to save you from brooder hassles. All 8 need to go together. Pick up in Deerfield, MA.
