Our final competition season is in the books and here are the results from KCBS Team of the year. With just under 2300 teams competing in 5 or less contests, this is how we did. Overall 49, Chicken 32, Ribs 10, Pork 402 and Brisket 73. This is a great finish for only entering 5 competitions! Our rankings against all the teams (just under 3000 teams-no matter how may contests entered) are: Overall 653, chicken 614, Ribs 492, Pork 1085 and Brisket 693. Hoping to do some judging in 2017!

We're starting the process of upgrading our RV/toy hauler. Just listed on Craigslist. If anyone knows anyone looking for a great 5th wheel toy hauler, spread the word.

Back from a fun weekend at OOB (lots fo good tInes with our fruends)...best call we got was 5th in chicken. ..not so great otherwise. Congrats to Basic BBQ Team on the GC and getting an automatic trip to The Jack...and to Smokin' Hoggz on the RGC. Thank you to Chad and Nicole on the fun Lemonade Stand! On to URI next weekend!
