I have decided, under circumstances beyond my control to shut the doors to the farm, and our stand.
To all the many customers, friends, family and employees throughout the 25+ years, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Myself, and my family will miss you all, and wish you the best in the future!

The Bar Farm

The Bars Farm is family owned and operated vegetable farm, located at 146 Mill Village Road in Deerfield, MA. We retail and wholesale a large diversified selection of our own vegetables and flowers. We are one of the most diversified farms in our area seeding all our own vegetables and most of our flowers, and selling on site at our farm stand. We wholesale our vegetables to local markets and restaurants as well. Wholesale is done from our converted to***co barn, which serves as a packing and washing area. Deliveries to local restaurants are available. We accept debit and credit cards at our farm stand.

We believe in and practice IPM and are involved with the Massachusetts IPM committee. The idea is that as farmers take from the land, they also give back. We make a living from the land, and we nurture it so we will be able to continue to do so into the future. Sustainable farming enhances and preserves the land, so future generations may continue to use it for food production.
