Adam's Cellar Wine

Adam's Cellar Wine Wine has become a passion and making great wines that family and friends will enjoy has become not o These have proven nearly impossible to keep in stock.

Winemaking is a quite a challenging hobby, with endless possibilities of ingredients and infinite variables. Since I started making wine in 2008, I have made many different kinds, some good, and many bad. Winemaking can be very easy to do for anyone, however incredibly hard to do well. It is my intention to experiment and search for just the right recipes to turn my hobby into a business one day.

So far to date I have produced over 50 small batch vintages. Several have been well liked and reproduced in larger batches. So for the most popular, by far, has been my Blueberry Wine and brandy fortified Blueberry Port. I also have had success with Cherry Wine, Cherry Kirshe, Plum Wine and Catawba Grape Wine among others. All of my wines are in VERY limited supply, if you are interested please do not hesitate to inquire. I can produce virtually any type of wine. If you have requests, please ask. I am happy to make wine for anyone and/or for any specific event. I also must stress that this is not a business, but a hobby, and these wines are not for sale outright. It is unlawful to sell alcohol without the proper permits and licenses. Under Federal ATT Law I am permitted to produce up to 200 gallons of wine in a calendar year, but it cannot be sold. If you are interested in obtaining my wines you can contact me through Facebook, call me or email [email protected].

2 White Ribbons from the Wisconsin State Fair this year. The Banana wine is made entirely from banana, and back-sweetened with brown sugar. The Dandelion was finally ready after 4 years of bulk aging!

Results from the 2022 WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competition. This Maréchal Foch received a Bronze Medal in the French/American Hybrid category.

Maréchal Foch ("mar-esh-shall-fosh") is a hybrid grape that originated in France but is primarily grown in cooler Eastern reasons of the United States as it tolerates cool weather and harsh winters. These grapes were grown right here in south central Wisconsin!

This deep red wine is dry, complex and slightly oaky. It is similar to a Pinot Noir from Burgundy (not California) with notes of Black Cherry, Sour Apple Plum and Cocoa.

Marechal Foch is a French-American hybrid grape that was developed to survive in cold harsh climates, like our Wisconsin winters.

This wine is dry and won’t be for everyone, but I am very happy with the result! Flavor of the grape’s French ancestry show through in flavors of green apple, plum, black cherry, and cocoa layer this complex wine.
