Hard at work in the garden! This year we’re planting about half of our garden with cut flowers.. which I am so excited about. Today we planted the tomatoes, cucumbers and flower seeds. King Chip loves to help out with his girls. They’ve been in the garden turning soil and getting bugs!

Good day ya’ll! It’s been a minute since I have been on… keeping up with a homestead, a toddler and social media is harder than I thought!
It’s spring time and we have been busy with so much out here… garden is getting planted, flowers are sprouting, and tons of baking and cooking (I’ll be sharing soon)!
We had 13 goat kids this season and didn’t have to intervene once! Wow!
Two of our KuneKune girls are pregnant and expecting in May! I’m very excited.
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the spring time!

(I believe those are bobcat tracks we found 😅)

Last baby of kidding season! This is Bubbles baby. What should we name him? I’m thinking Pop or maybe Little Richard.
We had a very smooth season this year compared to last year. Very grateful! Wishing everyone a happy Saturday!

Made our dogs some stew today.. Venison, beef, green beans, carrots, corn, sweet potatoes, blueberries and peas. Now to make the rice. One part stew to two parts rice. I have about 30lbs of stew here…. So now I’ll need to make 60lbs of cooked rice! 😅
