Is our olive oil expensive? Or inexpensive?

This is the olive oil that you really want - 100% real, virgin, extra and unadulterated. If you were visiting or working in Córdoba & stopped in to the mill, you would get the exact same olive oil from us there as you get from us here.

Expensive?
The costs at our mill are the commodity price of extra virgin olive oil + bottling. Overland and ocean shipping, export/import fees and tariffs add to the original cost. Then, online store platforms (Amazon, Walmart) fees and USPS Priority Mail fees add to the cost again.

Inexpensive?
We extract and bottle our olive oil at our mill in Córdoba, Spain. Our company in Spain handles the exporting and our company in the US handles the importing into the US. The people in the US and Spain are the same, there are no third party middlemen - brokers, reps or distributors. Therefore, other than the online store fees previously mentioned. there are no middleman or commissions,

Antonio Celentano Olive oil update:

Information that we hope will be of interest to you:
With everything going on regarding tariffs, food contamination, inflation etc. - we thought that this would be a good time to update you with what we are doing on our end to continue to make this - real, unadulterated, extra virgin - olive oil available to you.

1 - The overall olive oil market - Nothing has changed, virgin olive oil sold in bulk - not bottled at the mill - is mixed with other oils. In a recent Amazon review, a gentleman wrote that our olive oil was 'the first olive oil' that he had ordered that doesn't 'taste like Canola oil'

2 - Our olive oil is, and will always be, produced - extracted - at our mill in Castro del Río, Córdoba, Spain.

3 - Pricing: We were hoping to be able to lower pricing, however, tariffs and higher shipping costs are preventing us from doing so for now.

4 - Tariffs: The current rate that we are paying is 15%. We will absorb these tariffs and not pass them on to you.

If you are in Austin, we recommend online purchases from the Square site. This gives us the option to make same or next day deliveries. Amazon and Walmart are dead set against our in-house deliveries.

7 - Going forward - For as long as we are able to do so, we will continue to make this olive oil available to you, at the most cost effective price possible.

Tariffs - We were able to get this shipment in before the new tariffs hit. We are anticipating a 25% tariff on following shipments.

However, we'll do everything we can to avoid any price increase in spite of the increased tariffs.
