Winemaking in clay amphorae goes back over 8,000 years in Georgia, and it’s making a comeback. 🍶 Amphorae allow slow, gentle aging while giving wines earthy, textural qualities. These orange-hued wines often taste nutty, savory, and deeply complex. Pair with lamb gyros or roasted veggies and taste a piece of ancient history. Fun trivia: amphorae are still buried underground in Georgia to keep the wines naturally cool during fermentation!

🍷 What a night in Delafield!

Last night, we had the pleasure of exploring the remarkable wines of Ramey Wine Cellars. From beautifully expressive Chardonnay to elegant, layered reds, each glass showcased the balance, craftsmanship and sense of place that have made Ramey one of California’s most respected producers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another wonderful evening of wine, conversation and discovery. We hope you found a new favorite to bring home!
