Happy Harvest Season to our wonderful Common Ground community! 🍏

We are getting ready to make our annual trip up to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains to visit Mercier Orchards. We’re bringing back the freshest, crispiest mountain-grown apples straight to our DeLand store, and we want to make sure your pantry is fully stocked!

We will be offering seven incredible varieties of mountain-grown apples this year. Whether you love them sweet, tart, or perfectly crisp for baking, we have something for everyone:

We have some exciting news to share! Common Ground Farm is growing faster than ever, and we are expanding our offerings to bring you even more of the high-quality foods you love, including a wider variety of raw dairy, grass-fed beef, organic produce, and much more!

Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for the incredible turnout for our peach sale! We were truly blown away by your support. Even with 40 extra cases stocked in the store, they flew off the shelves faster than we could have imagined.

Because the demand was so high, we’re making another trip to Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, Georgia, this week! We’ve been told their Grade #1 peaches are currently very limited, but we’ve secured a fantastic supply of Grade . They are every bit as sweet, incredibly delicious, and completely preservative-free—perfect for eating fresh, baking, or canning.

We’ll have 100 cases ready to go right when we open this Thursday, July 16th at 11:00 AM, so be sure to grab yours while supplies last!

Please note: There will be no pre-orders for this batch. It will be strictly first-come, first-served, so we highly recommend getting here early!

It's Peach Time!

Hey Friends,

Summertime has arrived and that means it's peach season! We will be bringing back fresh picked peaches from Lane Southern Orchards, located in Fort Valley, GA. In addition to the peaches, we will also be restocking our supply of pecans, canned peaches along with some other products to carry in the store from Lane's as well. Those additional products are not yet available on our website, however will be available to purchase in store during our peach pick up weekend.

The peaches can be pre-ordered through the farm website using the link below. We kindly ask that only those paying in cash or who need assistance place a peach pre-order in store. For those who are placing an order in store, those orders can be placed over the next several weeks during our weekly store hours Thursday - Sunday.

We will be accepting pre-orders on the peaches until 12:00 PM ET Monday, July 6th. Peaches will be available for pickup beginning Thursday, July 9th and can be picked up anytime that weekend during our store hours. We are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am - 5 pm.

We will have some peaches available for purchase by the pound in the market store during the weekend of July 9-12th.This option is good for those who only want a very small amount of peaches.

This year we will offer both grade #1 and grade #2 peaches. Grade #2 peaches are sold by the half-bushel only.

Freestone grade 1 peaches, also referred to as cling-free peaches, are great for eating, cooking, baking and canning. They are sweet and juicy and the flesh is not attached to the pit. The peaches are not organic, however Lane Southern Orchards does not spray once fruit appears on the trees. These are the same peaches the farm has offered in past years.

Freestone grade 2 peaches are the same variety as the #1 grade peaches, however the grade #2 peaches may contain some blemishes, bumps and bruises. These peaches are great for cooking, baking and canning. The peaches are not organic, however Lane Southern Orchards does not spray once fruit appears on the trees.

During the pre-order period, Grade #1 peaches are available in two sizes:

1/2 bushel (box) is $48.99. This size contains around 60 peaches (depending on this year's size) and is approximately 25 pounds.

4 quart bag is $12.99. This size contains around 15 peaches and is approximately 6 pounds.

Grade #2 peaches are sold only by the 1/2 bushel (box):

1/2 bushel (box) of grade #2 peaches is $38.99. This size contains around 60 peaches (depending on this year's size) and is approximately 25 pounds.

Please note the actual number of peaches may vary by bag or box as the amount of peaches is based on weight.

Orders for peaches should be placed separate from all other products, such as milk and cheese, unless you intend to pick up those products alongside your peaches during the weekend of July 9-12th.

Hey friends! 👋

We will be making the trip to Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, GA for peaches again this year. This is the same orchard we have used in prior years.

Our peach pick up weekend will be Thursday, July 9th through Sunday, July 12th. Pre-ordered peaches can be picked up at any time during our store hours this weekend.

We are currently waiting on the orchard to provide us with pricing, and anticipate beginning the pre-order process in approximately three weeks. Look for an email from us the week of June 8th with more details, including pricing, and the link to place the pre-orders.

We have some great updates and fresh restocks waiting for you at our farm store!

What's New in Store:
🥛 More Alday Farm Goodness:
We have a lot more chocolate milk and kefir from Alday Farm in stock! When you stop by, we would absolutely love to hear your feedback on all the new Alday Farm products!
🥩 Fully Restocked Meats:
We are fully restocked on our grass-fed beef and poultry. Plus, delicious Tomahawk Steaks are now available!

🫙 A Note on Udders & More:
Please note that there has been a slight price increase with *Udders & More* milk due to recent increases in cow feed prices. Because of this, starting next week, we will no longer be doing the $1 glass jar deposit. However, we would still greatly appreciate it if you brought the jars back to us when you visit! ♻️

🧊 A Quick Tip for Transporting Your Dairy:
To keep your raw milk and dairy products as fresh and delicious as possible, we highly recommend bringing an insulated cooler bag with plenty of ice when you visit. Raw milk thrives when kept between a chilly 33 and 38 degrees. It is very sensitive to sitting out or experiencing temperature fluctuations, so keeping it ice-cold on the ride home ensures the absolute best quality and longest shelf life!
