🎂 ONE little birthday human… ONE very special cake… and LOTS of permission to make a mess!

SMASH CAKES are here, and we are absolutely here for the cuteness!

From simple and sweet to colorful, creative, and oh-so-cute, smash cakes are such a fun way to celebrate that BIG first birthday milestone!

And they don't have to be big! Some can be as small as a muffin-sized cupcake, just the right size for little hands to dig into.

One of my favorites has to be this S’mores Smash Cake! Chocolate, graham cracker goodness, and a little extra fun for a first birthday. How cute is that?!

Swipe through to see some of our smash cakes, from simple little cuties to extra-special creations. Every one is made to help celebrate a very BIG first birthday!

Because turning ONE only happens once… and it deserves cake (even if it ends up in their hair)!

💍 Two Weddings, Two Very Different Sweet Endings! 🎂

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of being part of two beautiful weddings, each with its own sweet personality!

One couple chose a simple, elegant cutting cake for their special moment. The other went with a whole assortment of mini desserts — because why settle for just one sweet treat when you can have six or seven? 😉

- Mini crème brûlées
- Chocolate cups filled with chocolate mousse and raspberry (gluten-free!)
- Gluten-free brownies topped with white chocolate mousse, ganache, and rainbow sprinkles
- Mini pecan tarts
- Mini apple tarts

A little something for everyone, and every bite made to be enjoyed!

Congratulations to both couples!
Josh and Sarah
Lisa and Gerry

🍰 A NEW CREATION AT THE CAKE SISTERS… WE NEED YOUR OPINION!

It's Friday, the sun is shining, and it's a beautiful day to visit Delaware City!

A gentleman called around looking for a bakery to make a Crème Brûlée Cheesecake for his wife's birthday. Nobody could help him, but we love a custom order! We already make cheesecake AND our wildly popular crème brûlée, so Tiffany decided to combine the two. And here it is!

Now we're wondering… should Tiffany start making these for our bakery case?

👇 WE NEED YOUR VOTE!

Plain Crème Brûlée Cheesecake OR Crème Brûlée Cheesecake with white chocolate mousse and berries.
Which one would YOU choose? Should we add it to the case?

Fresh out of the kitchen and waiting for you today:

🥐 Fresh bear claws 🫐 White chocolate blueberry cupcakes 🩵 Blue velvet cupcakes with Tiffany-blue roses and Italian meringue buttercream 🥥 Coconut cupcakes 👑 King cake cupcakes with seasonal flavors and brown sugar buttercream

Plus cheesecakes, crème brûlée, cake bombs, grab-and-go cakes, cookies, and all your other favorites!

Make a day of it in beautiful Delaware City and stop by for something sweet. We can't wait to see you!

Every Cake Has a Story.

Some cakes celebrate birthdays and weddings. And some remind us just how precious life really is.

Recently, Donna asked us to make a cake and cookie tray for a very special celebration. Donna is facing stage 4 bladder cancer and going through treatment. She isn't giving up hope, but she also knows that life is precious.

Donna decided she didn't want people waiting until she was gone to tell her how much she meant to them. She wanted to hear it now. See the faces. Share the hugs, laughter and memories while she's here to enjoy them.

Her celebration dinner is being held right here in Delaware City at Dolly Spanker's, just down the street from us. We love being part of something so meaningful, right here in our own little community.

Donna's story is a beautiful reminder: don't wait to celebrate the people you love. ❤️

And since October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we'll be making pink cupcakes and pink cookies throughout the month, with October 23rd being our Go Pink day.

Because chances are, every one of us knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer.

This cake has a story.
Donna has a story. Hers is a reminder to celebrate life while we're living it.
