MISSED CONNECTION!

It was a rainy Sunday morning, in the middle of a nor’easter.
I was standing in line with my two children, trying to keep them occupied while loading my items onto the belt, when you noticed…The chocolate chips.The brown sugar.
And… honestly, somewhat alarming amount of both.
You looked at my cart and said, “Someone is going to be making cookies.”
I smiled nervously and replied, “I’ve been told I make a mean cookie.”
And then, for reasons I still can’t explain, I suddenly became very aware that I didn’t have a pen, a scrap of paper, or even a business card.
I searched through my purse anyway.
Nothing.
I quickly paid for my things, wrangled my children, and headed for the door. I gave you one last, slightly flustered “Have a good day.”
And then you said “I’ll be thinking about your warm chocolate chip cookies all day.”
And that’s when I knew…
I should have given you my number.
