Golden hour on golden leaves. 🍂

My favorite tree across from the flower stand, catching the last bit of evening sunlight. One of those little moments that makes fall in the Catskills so beautiful.

I really can't believe how quickly this growing season flew by. We're down to the last very few fresh bouquets, with fresh bunches of eucalyptus also on the stand.

The tulip bulbs have already arrived, and it's time to start flipping beds and getting ready for next spring. Somehow we're wrapping up one season while already preparing for another.

Dried flowers will be making their way to the stand shortly, so we can hold onto a little bit of this season's color just a bit longer. 🤎

Last week’s harvest — trying to preserve as much of the color and beauty of the season as we can. 🤎

These blooms will spend the next few weeks drying, holding onto a little piece of the flower season long after the frost arrives.

Mid-September is officially the start of the “we never really know when our season is going to end” part of flower farming.

It got down to 37° on the farm last night, and from here on out, we’re pretty much at the mercy of Mother Nature. One cold night can change everything since I don't have a greenhouse for protection.

It’s hard to look around the field right now, with all of these beautiful, vibrant colors, and know they only have a little time left.

Soaking it all in while we still can — especially with bulk buckets looking this good!

I’m behind on posts, still very much in newlywed bliss, and finally starting to feel like I’m coming back up for air. 🤍

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for weddings in the best way of course — a family wedding, then my own, then jumping right into flowers for another wedding, straight into Family Farm Day, and then traveling for another family wedding.

But I didn’t want too much time to pass without saying thank you.

A few years ago, this little flower farm started with some wildflowers, Mason jars, and the simple idea of growing something beautiful to share with people. I don’t think I ever could have imagined what it would grow into.

Seeing so many of you come out for our first Family Farm Day — walking through the flowers, picking bouquets, bringing your families, and enjoying this little place we’ve created — meant more to me than I can put into words.

There are plenty of moments behind the scenes when I question what I’m doing or wonder if I can keep up with it all. And then there are days like this that remind me exactly why I keep going.

I’m so grateful for every person who has bought a bouquet, wandered through the field, told a friend about us, come back year after year, or simply followed along and cheered this little flower farm.

Thank you for being part of it. 🤍

THE NIGHT BEFORE!💍💒👰🤵‍♂️

It's been a dream of mine since starting the flower farm to have a party in the field, and party we did! We are both feeling so grateful and so loved by everyone who came to celebrate us and are sending us wishes from afar! One for the books for sure! Cheers to Mr. & Mrs.!

There’s a little irony in chaos planting thousands of wildflower seeds and then finding the whole thing so calming.

Sometimes I wonder where my flowers end up? On a kitchen table shared over morning coffee. In the hands of someone celebrating a birthday. On a doorstep as an unexpected surprise. Beside a hospital bed when they are needed most. Or simply bringing a little beauty to an ordinary Thursday.

I may never know all of their stories, but I love knowing these flowers become a small part of someone's day.

These bouquets were custom ordered this week and it gives me joy knowing they made someone's day just a little brighter. 💐
