John's Church in Delhi, and finally to its present location, where it has grown into a full-service whole foods and specialty foods storefront. GOOD CHEAP FOOD is committed to making good food available at reasonable prices, marketing locally grown and produced foods, and providing information on food and health issues. The store sells bulk foods, including nuts, seeds, dried fruits, grains, pasta

s, flours, herbs and spices; packaged goods, including products for special diets; personal care items; and vitamins. We offer discounts of bulk and case orders and we special order for customers. The store specializes in supplying organic produce throughout the year; during the Catskills growing season produce is largely local. We also sell local dairy products and locally raised, chemical-free, pastured and grass-fed meats. If you come to browse, you will find a scattering of books, toys, jewelry, and local crafts, as well as home-made soups from our next-door neighbor, The Quarter Moon Cafe, and a few tables where you can sit and sip and browse a book.

Good Cheap Food is hiring experienced food lovers for full-time and part-time positions at our specialty food store in Delhi. We are seeking long-term team members who want to grow with us. Competitive pay and flexible hours are available along with unlimited growth potential for the right candidate. 

 
Job description: 

-       Help customers find unique gourmet items and cheeses

-       Share food stories about expert cooking tips

-       Stock shelves and keep displays neat and clean

-       Operate the cash register and show ability to multi-task

-       Prepare food samples and small specialty orders

 
Preferences:

-       At least one year in specialty food, retail, or food service

-       An appreciation for food, cheese, beer, and/or specialty cooking

-       Strong people skills and a helpful, friendly attitude

-       A desire for a stable, long term role with our team

Help Wanted: Social Media, Bookkeeping & Inventory Assistant

Are you computer-savvy, creative, and detail-oriented? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our busy real food business!

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) and create engaging content
- Handle bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Assist with inventory management
- Support with retail operations (Toast POS experience is a plus)

Experience with QuickBooks is required. Training will be provided for Toast Retail. This role could be full-time and may include in-store work depending on your availability and interest.

Wages are competitive and based on experience.
