Well , I’m excited and worried at the same time , the second week of October I was wrapping up bee stuff , setting up the winter lids and feeder shims pulling baby honey and frames That would just be attacked by wax moths , beetles etc , I had a few five frame nuc hives and I was cleaning up one in particular that was a dead out , meaning all the bees were gone , it was warm enough that the frame of brood that apparently viable and ready to hatch , so , this empty hive hatched its own small brood ball and I thought that I would just let them die off and collect the drawn frames , today I just went to clean up the frames and pack the boxes away but I about fainted when I saw a beautiful chubby queen laying eggs in a beautiful pattern and food getting packed away , so what did I do you say ? I put a feeder shim on top, I sealed the boxes with packing tape so the air will stay out , I reduced the entrance and I gave them 3 tablespoons of pollen , 2lbs of sugar dampened with honeybee healthy !!! And now just watch them grow❤️❤️🤠🐝 🐝❤️
