Born and raised in southern Michigan, Greg is a solo acoustic artist currently residing in West Lafayette, Indiana. Greg has always loved singer songwriters with a knack for incredible story telling, and until recently had been content playing their songs. In 2006, Greg wrote and recorded what he considers his first real song, Better Way. Eventually writing a few more songs, Greg got up the nerve to play some solo shows and open mics. While playing in the acoustic duo, The Rust Buckets, with John Lacy, Greg wrote several more songs and strived to develop both his writing and performing skills. Greg is working on recording songs for his upcoming full length release titled, Faded.
If you enjoy laid back, lemonade sippin, acoustic Americana style songwriting; with heartfelt lyrics of love lost and found, struggles with the day to day, but hope for tomorrow...then give Greg a listen. Producing a big sound armed with only a single guitar, percussion, harmonicas, and his voice; Greg’s songs will leave you thinking well after the last note is sung. Personally connecting with his audience is important to Greg, and his wit and heartfelt lyrics will have you feeling as though he is performing in your own living room or backyard. Combining his love for Americana roots music, classic country, and contemporary songwriters; Greg’s music has been compared to several of his songwriting heroes: Ralston Bowles, Shawn Mullins, Chris Knight, Mike McClure, Steve Earle, and Johnny Cash.
