What a massive milestone for us and our little farm!!! We have stuff for sale in a store! For two city kids who grew up very far removed from the farm life, were super proud to present Mystic Ruins Farms products!

We have goat milk things: goat milk, kefir, goat cheese, and farmer's cheese. We have eggs. We have sourdough things. We have horse fertilizer.

Intros: This is Zelda. 🧝‍♀️ She is our first LGD, and a pure Maremma Sheepdog.(It was rainy today and she went to town with the digging), the first 2 pics are "the artist" and "the art". 🎨

She is wonderful and the best girl!!!! She is already very much guarding everyone and everything all the time.... even in her sleep during her many weirdly-positioned naps. 🥰😴 She is full snow bear and loves eating and rolling around in the snow. No, we don't leave her alone with any of the goats or horses or birds just yet.

(We had adopted her and her brother, but lost her brother after a couple of weeks due to complications from what we think were either genetic issues, diabetes, blocked intestines, parasites, but most likely a combination of all of the above. We miss him terribly. His name was Link. This part is hard to post about and we are truly grateful to those who supported us during those excrutiating weeks between surgery and losing him. 🙏🫶🙌😭❤️)

The last week has been super busy! We did some horn scur trimming for Hubert, hoov trimming for the goat herd, brushed some undercoats to remove the winter fur, built a starter greenhouse 🌱🪴, got a few new additions to the bird flock, ran around a little and enjoyed the sunshine, and, of course, had some fun! 🌞🌟
