🌄🥂 CCA is turning 15—and we’d love to celebrate with you!

For 15 years, Colorado Canyons Association has been connecting people to the incredible National Conservation Areas in our backyard through education, stewardship, river programs, and community engagement. Now, we’re gathering with the friends, volunteers, partners, donors, and community members who have helped make that work possible to celebrate—and look toward the next 15 years.

Join us for an Evening of Canyon Stories, Community & Conservation at beautiful Honey Rock Landing, nestled along the Gunnison River in the Dominguez-Escalante landscape.

And if you want to make a whole weekend of it, Honey Rock has limited Cave Suites and glamping sites available for overnight stays. These are booked directly through Honey Rock and do not benefit CCA, but they’re a pretty wonderful way to extend the celebration into a canyon getaway. 🌙

This isn’t just a celebration of where we’ve been—it’s an investment in the next 15 years of connecting people to and caring for Colorado’s National Conservation Areas.

One year ago, we opened the doors to our Cave Suites at Honey Rock Landing. Since then, more than 400 guests have wandered through our orchard rows, explored the canyon, learned about the farm, and found a little space to slow down and reconnect with nature.

We’ve loved hearing how guests experience this place. One guest described Honey Rock as a place worth “planning an entire trip around,” rather than simply stopping overnight. Another called the Cave Suites “out-of-the-box luxury,” highlighting the warm sandstone, soaking tubs, heated floors, kitchens, and breakfast provisions.

To everyone who has stayed with us this past year, thank you for being part of our first chapter. Your visits, kind words, and shared experiences have meant so much to us.

Come catch your own crawdads from our pond, then enjoy them boiled with classic seasonings.

From there, dig into Chef Mike’s (Le Snack Fine Foods) homemade paella featuring fresh Gulf crawdads flown in specially for the event, Honey Rock produce, local sweet corn, and artisan sausage. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

It’s been quite the season. First, our fruit crops were devastated, then our outdoor market garden took quite a few hits. But we’re resilient and keep moving forward!

We’re grateful for the bounty coming from the greenhouse and some seriously strong outdoor veggies. Find our produce at your favorite local food hub while it lasts!
