Last weekend we got the big garden planted. Lettuce (red and green), carrots, peas, green beans, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, zucchini, squash, butternut squash, bell peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, and pumpkins. Excited to see what we get! Also, tried our hand at homemade nuggets with our fresh chicken. So good!

Our new obsession on the homestead are homemade pretzels! And everyone gets to help. Our first batch used sourdough and were a total fail. Round two on Monday was a yeast dough and much more successful. Soft, buttery, homemade pretzels in an hour is a major win. Even made another batch today.
