Mock Family Farm

We would like to introduce our new heifer, Blossom! We brought her home about two months ago, and she has settled in nicely and made friends with the rest of the farm.

Always choose the livestock barn. Not because it’s convenient.
Not because it fits into a perfectly planned day.
But because it’s the one place that has never asked me to pretend.

The livestock barn doesn’t care how tired you are.
It doesn’t care what kind of day you’ve had
or how heavy my worries feel. It just waits for you to show up.
To do the work.
To take responsibility.
To care for something bigger than yourself.

In the barn, effort matters more than appearance.
Consistency matters more than excuses.
And the quiet moments teach lessons that no classroom ever could.

When life feels overwhelming, the barn feels grounding.
When everything around you feels rushed,
the rhythm of chores slows you down.

There’s something about the sound of feed hitting buckets,
the shuffle of hooves in fresh shavings,
and the steady routine of daily care
that brings you back to what really matters.

So always choose the livestock barn.
Because it’s more than a place.
It’s where work turns into pride,
responsibility turns into character,
and effort turns into purpose

Not the best pictures but welcome to the farm Mal & Juliet! We are excited to slowly get back into breeding commercial boers. Really excited for these girls and Raven to get our boer herd going.
