The L&P Farm Project

The L&P Farm Project We are a small farm in Delta, AL. We raise sheep, beef, chicken, fruits and veggies, etc.

We moved to the farm full-time when Nate retired from the fire service in early 2025. We love the farm life and we’re excited to share our products with others!

Roosters - Free to GOOD home

🚨Update: We will inquire about your intentions for the purpose of these animals and will turn down those who give us a bad vibe.

We have 3 roosters that we are looking to re-home. Unfortunately we don’t have enough hens to keep everyone safe and happy.

They are 21 weeks old, Born on March 25th.

As far as the breeds go, it would be best guesses from a barnyard mix.

They all posed so handsome for their photoshoot!

🐓The red guy - likely a New Hampshire or Welsummer cross. He has a smaller stature than the others. Very alert and attentive. Does his job checking out potential threats. Hangs out close by when we’re hanging by the coop but no interest in being pet.

🐔White and red - your guess is as good as ours on the breed. He’s quite stunning though! Very inquisitive and will also hang out close by our feet when around the coop. Also not interested in being touched.

🐓Black w/ touch of copper - this guy is BIG and a gentle giant. He is more than likely a Red Blue Laced Wyandotte x Australorp. He is very mild mannered and least dominant of all the roosters in our flock but such a gentleman when it comes to the girls. Again no interest in being touched.

They have been free ranging since about 9 weeks old.

Delivery possible based on location.
