You’ll be saying WOW after every bite of this week's special pizza. The Ham WOW! works as a snack, lunch, dinner or even breakfast! Each Ham Wow! is made with not one, but two types of pork Canadian and American Bacon, Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella, Pineapple, Fresh Tomatoes and Parmesan Cheese.

It’s been a minute, but back on tap and pairing perfectly with the Ham WOW!:

EMERGENCY PALE! Pale Ale - American
5.8% ABV
When you are in need of a Westy American Pale Ale, reach for an EMERGENCY! Brewed with Linc Francin pils and chit malt. Hopped and dry hopped with one single variety, Anchovy. (there is no little fish in this beer, this beautiful hop was named Anchovy as a joke)

Spunky and sweet, the Spicy ‘Lil Mama special this week is crafted with marinara sauce, mozzarella, sausage, feta and our house honey sriracha sauce.

Absolutely beautiful and back on tap:

Free Kitten - Belgian Blonde
5.7% ABV
Brewed with Linc Malting’s Francin pilsner, flaked rice, Golden Naked Oats, hopped with Styrian Wolf. Fermented super duper dry with a classic Belgian yeast strain.

Open noon - 9pm seven days a week.

Back on special the Arugula Pesto Pizza’s base blends local arugula into our house made pesto sauce, then topped with mozzarella, meatballs, red onion and sundried tomatoes.

Word has it John is indeed happy with this batch:

Johnny Red Eyes (Live from Sweatpants Manor) IPA - Red
6.6% ABV
NW Red IPA brewed with Francin pils, pale chocolate, C 80, special roast and Red X. Hopped in the kettle and dry hopped with Idaho 7, Mosaic and Anchovy(hops). Who knows what Johnny's response to this version will be, he's been very vocally impatient from his throne in Sweatpants Manor. Once again, let's just ask him. “you happy now, John?”

Open 7 days a week noon-9pm.

Trail Update: Cougar Divide. Cougar Divide sits across from the popular Skyline Divide. Skyline is currently inaccessible due to a road wash out the past three years. Fortunately we have access to Cougar Divide! Cougar Divide is a user developed trail that receives no trail maintenance and lacks trailhead signage. It’s off the radar of many hikers, but popular with hunters, backpackers and foragers.

From highway 542 turn onto Wells Creek Road and set the odometer. Go past Nooksack Falls. About 2 miles up Wells Creek Road, keep right and skip FR 3310. Wells Creek is in good condition until 6 miles from highway 542, at this point a vehicle with clearance is required. Continue on Wells Creek for a total of 12 miles from the highway at which you’ll see a split in the road, keep left. Another mile up Wells Creek road and you’ll arrive at the unmarked trailhead and end of road, 13 miles from highway 542.

Cougar Divide starts high at 4,900ft and only gets higher. At times it feels like you could touch Mt Baker. If you hike the entire trail you’ll cover just over 6 miles, gain 1,800ft and see views of just about every mountain in the area. Sounds easy for the cascades, but the trail is eroded and many blown down trees require going over or around to continue. Huckleberries are abundant in the first couple miles. Grasshoppers currently take over after that. Heads up, no water is currently available on this trail, pack what you need.

Our brains in the kitchen stepped up to the plate for this week's special pizza. “The Bat” is made with an olive oil base, bacon, arugula, tomato and a house crafted ranch drizzle.

Back on tap and one fine dinger of a Lager:

Deming Lager
Lager - American 6.1% ABV

Pre-prohibition American style lager. Dry and light straw in color, brewed with Linc pilsner malt, white wheat and flaked corn. At least triple hops brewed with Magnum and Saaz hops. Not cold filtered(or hot filtered, we actually don't even have a filter).

Trail Update: Lake Ann trail is currently LOADED with ripe huckleberries and a fair amount of ripe salmon berries. Bring a spare empty water bottle and fill up with berries only available in the mountains. This 8 mile round trip hike has about 2,000ft of elevation gain making it somewhat difficult, but worth the reward when you arrive at Lake Ann and the Curtis Glacier.

Check out for an in-depth writeup on the trail.

We're staying in strawberry season with our Midnight Special Pizza this week. Each Midnight Special is crafted with our strawberry balsamic base, bacon, red onion, gorgonzola, fresh mint, strawberries and a balsamic drizzle. Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin' light on me - CCR.

Back on rotation is a classic for North Fork Brewery.

Mysterian Pale Pale Ale - American
5.8% ABV
What started as a mysterious shipment of Styrian Golding hops has become one of our staple pale ales. Brewed with Linc Malting's Francin pilsner, Golden Naked Oats and white wheat. Hopped heavily in the whirlpool and dry hop with Styrian Wolf. "Time is a flat circle"

Open 7 days a week noon-9pm. You have to get here well before midnight for the special…..or anything.
