We are absolutely loving the vibrant colors of these beets! Shout-out to Farmer Dan for growing some of the loveliest beets we've seen this year.

Not sure what to do with beets? Here are a few ideas:
~ Looking for something quick? Simple steamed beets are an easy introduction and a family favorite around our table.
~ Add them to a salad. Roasted beets pair beautifully with goat cheese, greens, and a simple vinaigrette.
~ Save them for dessert. Their earthy sweetness complements chocolate surprisingly well. Try adding beets to a rich chocolate cake and see for yourself!

Pasture-raised chicken is back in the Farm Store! 🌱

We're excited to welcome chicken from Avodah Family Farm in Crown Point, Indiana.

We first met Jotam and Chelsey Torres this winter at a Region Roots workshop and had the chance to get to know them even better when they joined us for our community build this spring. It's always a gift to connect with fellow farmers who care deeply about their animals, their land, and the families they serve.

At Avodah Family Farm, chickens are raised on fresh pasture with access to sunshine and carefully selected feed, with a focus on stewardship, animal welfare, and transparency.

We're grateful to partner with local farms like Avodah Family Farm to bring nourishing, locally raised food to our community.
